Spring Into Action

Writer's picture: Mama MMama M

Part of being an educator is the need to create products that fit my child! Our son who is in early intervention loves learning but needs lots of love ad a creative outlet. I created a product where we can work on speech, numbers, fine motor skills and his LOVE of coloring.

Numbers 1-10, cute images of spring animals, plants and bugs, and fine motor tasks.

For kids between the ages of 1-2 some good fine motor skills are

- Grasping a crayon with the whole hand

- Scribbling on paper ( Our sons favorite way to "Color")

- Whole hand grasp for dot markers

For kids between the ages of 3-5 some good fine motor skills are

- Using a tripod grasp when coloring or writing

-Tracing lines and shapes

- Copying lines and shapes

- Writes letters

- Begins to use scissors
